ANTagony is a narrative mobile game inspired by the prisoner's dilemma, a classic paradox from game theory. You play as a worker ant who must, turn after turn, decide whether to cooperate or betray their teammate to ensure the survival of their colony. Each choice affects trust, fatigue, and collective risk. There is no universally right answer, only consequences.
How does the demo work?
The demo features 7 turns and a random event: a predation, a collapsed gallery, a night on watch. Each turn, you choose between cooperating or betraying; an adaptive AI decides on its side, without seeing you. The outcome depends on the combination of both choices. The game ends with one of 4 possible endings, calculated based on your accumulated decisions.
Why is this game unique?
No combat, no score, just a relationship that evolves in silence. The AI is not an opponent: it learns, grows tired, trusts, and defends itself. In the full version, every playthrough tells a different story depending on the rhythm of your betrayals and cooperations. ANTagony questions what we sacrifice to survive together, and whether the colony is truly worth what it costs.
