A majority of those questioned say they are more a dog than a cat person. Is it because the cat is always a victim of its reputation for being too independent? This autonomy that artists and thinkers rightly cherish in these little felines. Yet I have known many cats as loyal and faithful to their “owner” as dogs. It’s just that this confidence is acquired over the long term and can be broken at the slightest misstep.
Also I was able to observe more marked and varied characters and personalities in cats. In our increasingly uncertain world, a person who wants to adopt an animal may prefer to play it safe by choosing a dog because it is easier for them to know what to expect. In return, they lose the possibility of discovering a singular being.
I developed this test based both on various scientific studies but also on my own observations and experiences. It remains based on certain “clichés” and does not claim to be 100% objective. Aware of this limit for tests of this kind, I chose to include the possibility of being both a dog and cat person.

Time's up
