I took this photo at the entrance of the Louvre Museum in 2018. I used an ultra wide angle lens 16mm mount on a Sony a7 ii Camera and worked after on Lightroom for post processing.

LightJet Print on Ilford b&w baryta photo paper, limited to 20 copies, signed and numbered on the back by Jacques Julien.
This photograph is available in two sizes: 30x20cm (11,8″x7,9″) or 60x40cm (23,6″x15,7″)

For this series of street photographs made in Paris, my artistic approach utilizes an urban setting to introduce a human presence, often isolated and delicate, which I capture spontaneously. The goal is to allow the viewer to imagine a narrative through a range of emotions, inviting him to dream through suggestion. I explore the simple act of walking in the city as a symbolic experience, using natural light and aesthetic references to transcend the physical reality and unveil deeper meanings. Walking thus becomes a metaphysical exploration of the body’s place in the urban landscape through the various stages of human life.
